NEW – ELISAN Announce the launch of a
European Prize « Energy poverty : how to get out ?”
 
Between 50 000 and 125 000 European households would be affected by energy poverty. The European local inclusion and social action network ELISAN, and the corporate Foundation GDF SUEZ commit themselves to fight against this problem and launch a call for European experiences. The call for experiences is aimed at collecting the most efficient and innovative initiatives launched at local level to fight against energy poverty : preventive measures, specific tools, trainings and so on. Failing to have a European common definition, ELISAN and the corporate foundation GDF SUEZ will support local preventive and awareness initiatives dedicated to our most vulnerable citizens.
 
Rewards
1st prize : 3 000 €
2nd – 3rd  and 4th prize : 2 500 € each

Launch of a European Alzheimer Prize
«Living well with dementia in the community»
A group of European Foundations, composed of The Atlantic Philanthropies, the Médéric Alzheimer Foundation, the King Baudouin Foundation and the Robert Bosch Stiftung, has decided to organize a call for projects together, in order to give 10 awards of up to 10.000 EUR. Awarding initiatives will have to promote the
integration and support of people with dementia and their care givers in the local community through a large range of activities.
